My name is Mateo Vegas. I am a Senior Software Engineer at VieCure, where I function as a tech lead and principal consultant, focusing on frontend architecture and development, with a strong influence on UX. I've only been with VieCure for 9 months but have made great strides in revamping our flagship platform—coming soon. With nearly 30 years in the industry, I've worn many hats—from leading startups to mentoring teams of developers and designers. I've had the privilege of teaching frontend development and speaking publicly on the craft of software development.
Throughout my career, I’ve seen how difficult it can be to deliver high-quality software. I’ve led teams, guided devs at all levels, and collaborated with some of the brightest minds in the industry. And now, with High Quality Software, I’m bringing that experience here. My goal is to highlight the small details that make great software and share insights from years of navigating the complexities of development.
